Rusalka, Antonín Dvořák's renowned opera, made its debut at Teatro alla Scala under the direction of Emma Dante and conductor Tomáš Hanus.The production presented a unique interpretation, with Rusalka portrayed as a doll-like figure in a wheelchair with tentacles, and the use of a dilapidated gothic church set with a water pond for the first and third acts.

In Milan's Piazza del Duomo, the Concert for Milan drew over twenty thousand spectators for a captivating classical music event, featuring conductor Riccardo Chailly and a thrilling performance of John Williams' Superman March. The concert was made even more special by the participation of renowned Peruvian tenor Juan Diego Florez, who delighted the audience with famous arias from classical repertoire as well as Peruvian favorites, prompting thousands of Peruvians in attendance to join him in song and celebration.

The Concert from St. Mark's Square, featuring Beethoven's 9th Symphony, has become the second most significant live event in Venice, after the New Year's Concert, combining the natural beauty of the outdoor stage with the use of augmented reality technology to illuminate television images with messages of peace, creating a magical atmosphere for the traditional "Inno alla Gioia.

LTV - Latvia

The Nationwide Latvian Song and  Dance Festival celebrated its 150th year of the Song Festival tradition, and took  place in Riga from the 30th June to the 9th July, 2023.

During the week of the Festival, 40,000 participants from 43 Latvian administrative regions, as well as other countries where Latvians maintain and develop the Song and Dance Festival tradition, came to Riga.

Over ten days, they took plart in more than 60 events: choir, dance, wind band, kokle, folk music, vocal ensemble, folklore and other concerts; a Latvian folk costume exhibition; a folk craft art exhibition; and amateur theatre productions. Half a million visitors were able to see the events in person.
