This year it is an excerpt from a twelve-minute report that we broadcast at the end of the year instead of our classic magazine program. Our journalist Marianne Skorpis introduces us to a radio project in which school classes from Paris suburbs take part. Together they create a news program. The young reporters talk about current topics, literature and sometimes conduct interviews. They learn to debate, speak publicly, write articles and analyze headlines. The project will celebrate its fortieth anniversary in 2024. A great initiative to teach children how to use media in a world in which it is increasingly difficult, but also increasingly important, to distinguish between truth and fake news.
