IT'S TIME TO SUBMIT YOUR BEST ENTRIES!
From July 29th to September 15th, we'll be accepting submissions for your most creative campaigns in video format (up to 5 elements, with 1-second transitions) on our EBU Showcase platform.
Each broadcaster can submit up to 5 entries. No entry fee.
This is your opportunity to highlight your work and share best practice !
ABOUT THE SESSION
The session "STRATEGIES IN A DIGITAL WORLD", taking place on Friday 4 October at 14:00 at the EBU Digital Meet up event in Turin, will aim to showcase top creative campaigns from EBU members, fostering a shared understanding and approach to overcoming industry challenges.
2024 RULES
1 - ORIGIN OF WORK
• Only EBU active or associate members may submit entries.
• Agencies are not allowed to submit entries.
• Entries must have been screened, streamed, posted, or published in the participant’s territory between January 1, 2023, and June 30, 2024.
2 - SUBMISSION PLATFORM
• All entries must be submitted online on our EBU showcase platform
3- MAXIMUM NUMBER
• Each participating broadcaster may submit up to 5 entries per brand/channel.
• 1 version of a promo = 1 entry.
• An entry can have up to 1 to 5 elements, edited back-to-back with 1 sec black in between elements There are no separate galleries for different categories, all the submissions will be uploaded and available on the gallery 2024 EBU Connect Showcase.
4- NAMING OF THE SUBMISSIONS
Since only one gallery is used this year, please name your work as follows: XX (BROADCASTER ACRONYM) _XX (GENRE)_XX (Project Title)
For example: BBC_FICTIONAL_DOCTORWHO
Please select a genre from the following list:
• SPORTS
• NEWS & CURRENT AFFAIRS
• FICTIONAL
• DOCUMENTARIES
• ENTERTAINMENT
• CHILDREN & YOUNG AUDIENCES
• CORPORATE & BRANDING
5- WRITTEN DESCRIPTION
We do appreciate a short-written description for each entry. The description must not exceed 200 wordsand should contain information you think may give greater insight/context to the entry (such as the objectives of the work).
6- SUBTITLES
All non-English entries should be subtitled in English.
7- SELECTION
Entries to be presented at the Big Digital Meet-up will be shortlisted and chosen by the EBU Connect steering committee. Selected members may be invited to participate in a panel discussion to share valuable insights and address industry challenges. All other entries will remain available anytime on the EBU Showcase platform.
